We’re excited to announce that we’ve begun moving into our expanded space at the Ansin Building at 1340 Boylston Street! Staff from The Fenway Institute were moved to the fifth floor over the weekend and are busy settling in. Any research study participants coming to Fenway for appointments should now check in on the fifth floor rather than the eighth. The expanded Dental area will open in early to mid December and medical staff and providers will be moving to the fourth floor in mid December. The new Radiology services on the fourth floor will go online in the coming weeks. We’ll keep you posted as that happens.
Here are a few photos of the new space taken late last week. We’ll post more once everyone has settled in.[slickr-flickr use_key=”y” search=”sets” set=”72157632135580811″ captions=”on” flickr_link=”off” descriptions=”off” size=”large”]
As you know, the expansion project will provide much needed space for Fenway Health and will enable us to offer additional services. The fourth floor will be dedicated to primary care and will include on-site digital imaging services, bone density screening and mammograms. The fifth floor will be dedicated to the rapidly expanding work of The Fenway Institute, which will now occupy two full floors of the building. And we’re doubling the size of the dental department on the sixth floor, which should help reduce waiting times for dental appointments and allow us to serve more clients in need of this critical service.
