Community Partnership Fights Sexual Violence on the T

If you ride the MBTA, you may notice new posters during your commute. The campaign—a partnership between The Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC), Fenway Health Violence Recovery Program (VRP), and MBTA—seeks to empower the riding public to report sexual assault and harassment on Boston’s public transportation system and take action to prevent them. The MBTA has been previously recognized for this initiative started in 2008 and are demonstrating a renewed effort to send a clear, strong message that inappropriate behavior and illegal sexual touching will not be tolerated.
