We may have entered the final month of fall, but there’s still plenty of time to enjoy the delicious bounties of the harvest. And with the winter holidays just around the corner, the spirit of giving is certainly in the air. Why not combine the best of both seasons and dine for a good cause? Attendees of BostonChefs.com’s 11th Annual Flavors of Fall will have the chance to eat, drink, and give merrily.
Flavors of Fall is a premiere food and wine event serving up exquisite culinary creations from some of the most talented chefs in Cambridge. This year’s feast on November 17 will feature a VIP reception and more restaurants than ever before, all coming together to dish out delicacies from their late fall menus. The best part? Proceeds from the event will help support the programs of Youth on Fire, a safe and confidential space for homeless, runaway, and street involved youth ages 14-24. Youth on Fire offers a range of desperately needed services, including free HIV/STD/Hepatitis C testing, physical and mental health care, drug treatment and education, overdose prevention training, and housing and employment search assistance.
“Youth On Fire is excited and fortunate to partner with the Boston Chefs Association and City Square Associates for Flavors of Fall. The event will bring together some of Cambridge’s most talented chefs and best restaurants to support the programs and members of Youth on Fire,” said Ayala Livny, Program Manager for Youth on Fire.
“By supporting the event you are helping the program provide support, services and opportunities to homeless young adults. It promises to be a great evening and we are excited to share it with our friends and supporters,” Livny said.
Flavors of Fall will take place November 17 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel at 40 Edwin Land Boulevard, Cambridge. The VIP reception is from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, with the main event starting at 6:30. Tickets are going fast, so don’t hesitate! This is sure to be a fundraiser to please any palate.
