As we enter 2015, Massachusetts is in the midst of a health crisis that has resulted in an alarming number of tragic, preventable deaths. According to a Boston Globe report and the Department of Public Health, heroin overdose deaths in Massachusetts have been climbing for the past several years, going from 526 in 2010 to 863 in 2013.
