Fenway Institute Collaborates On Transgender Population Study

The Fenway Institute is excited to announce its collaboration with researchers at the Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law and Columbia University on a first-of-its-kind study of the transgender population in the United States. The objective of “TransPop: U.S. Transgender Population Health Survey” is to use population data to create a comprehensive, accurate picture of the issues that transgender Americans face on a daily basis. The researchers also hope to gain new insights into methodology best practices for surveying transgender people. TransPop is being led by Dr. Ilan H.
