Introducing TransTalks: A transgender health online training video series

The National LGBT Health Education Center, a program of The Fenway Institute, is thrilled to announce a new comprehensive online training series in transgender health for healthcare providers. The six-video series is titled “Optimizing Transgender Health: A Core Course for Health Care Providers,” and features presentations given at the first annual Advancing Excellence in Transgender Health Conference held at Fenway Health last October by nationally-recognized experts in transgender healthcare. YLC To Celebrate Six Fabulous Years With Party At The Sinclair

Over the past six years, the Young Leaders Council (YLC) of Fenway Health has grown into one of the most vibrant communities of young philanthropists in the nation. In 2015 alone, the YLC contributed over $110,000 to support Fenway’s lifesaving programs and services and hosted over a thousand people at our events. New Transgender Support Group Launching

As our Transgender Health Program at Fenway Health continues to grow, we’re always adding new resources for transgender and gender non-conforming people. One critical component of transgender health is having access to safe, supportive, and affirming spaces. In this spirit, we’re excited to announce the formation of a new transgender support group this spring. We’re pleased to now offer a Transgender Support Group Monthly twice a month.
