Fenway: South End at 142 Berkeley Street is growing this summer with some exciting new changes on the horizon. In addition to new facilities and expanded space, we are excited to announce the launch of Family Medicine in the South End later this fall.
The build-out, which kicked off in May and is currently underway on both the second and fourth floors, will allow Fenway: South End to better serve the community and our surrounding neighborhood, while continuing to deliver the highest quality of care to all patients.
Changes to come this fall include:
- New exam rooms and additional space for our Behavioral Health team;
- Integrated clinical areas that support collaboration and communication across care teams;
- Expansions to both our on-site lab and pharmacy.
Following the initial launch of Fenway’s Family Medicine program at 1340 Boylston in January 2016, the program’s expansion to the South End will allow Fenway to continue addressing the growing needs of its patient community, as family structures change and grow within the LGBT community and surrounding neighborhoods. And as part of this expansion, we’ll soon being seeing patients of all ages at the South End!
Information about the build-out is currently posted on-site in key locations for all visitors, and we expect disruptions to be minimal. Completion date for the expansion is currently targeted for August 2016.
