The 2017 AIDS Walk & Run Boston is less than a week away and the AIDS Action Committee needs your support to raise the critical funds needed to continue its lifesaving work. When you fundraise or donate to the Walk, you help us prevent new HIV infections, maximize the health outcomes of those infected, and end the epidemic here in Massachusetts.
Still haven’t registered for the Walk or Run? Now is the time!
As we near the finish line, AIDS Action is calling its supports to join us in one last fundraising push. Together, we can ensure that AIDS Walk & Run Boston 2017 is a huge success!
Our goal this week is to raise $150,000 in between May 31 and June 2. This will help AIDS Action to stay on track to hit the overall Walk fundraising target of approximately $1 million to support those living with and at risk for HIV here in Massachusetts.
We’re challenging our participants over the next three days to help us reach this goal – and we’ll be giving out some fantastic prizes along the way to say thank you:
- The participant with the most online donors on Wednesday, May 31, by 11:59 PM will win a Tivoli Audio, Music System Three, a portable, HI-FI, AM/FM, Bluetooth music system.
- The participant with the most money raised on Thursday, June 1, by 11:59 PM will win a one night stay at the Sheraton Boston, two tickets the Red Sox on June 26, and $100 gift card to Area Four restaurant.
- The Walker with the most money raised in total from Wednesday, May 31 at 12:00 PM through Friday, June 2 at 11:59 PM will win an iPad.
All AIDS Walk & Run participants are eligible to win, including Walkers, Runners, Virtual Walkers, and Volunteers. Only one prize will be given per participant. Winners will be notified via email and must claim their prize by Friday, June 30.
Thank you to all our amazing Walkers, Runners, Volunteers, and generous donators for your support of AIDS Action and the 32nd AIDS Walk & Run Boston. Your time and dedication makes a world of difference for our clients and our community, and gets us all closer to our goal of finally finishing the fight against HIV.
