On Thursday, July 27 TransCEND (Transgender Care and Education Needs Diversity) will hold a community meeting for anyone interested in learning more about services offered by TransCEND and the future of the program. AIDS Action Committee Executive Director Carl Sciortino and AIDS Action Transgender Health Coordinator Chastity Bowick will answer questions. Light refreshments will be served and attendees will receive a free gift! TransCEND provides support and risk reduction services to transgender women (male to female), who experience much higher rates of HIV than the general population. The program offers free HIV and STI testing and free risk reduction materials

Our Transgender Health team is dedicated to providing access to high-quality, informed care for trans women, trans men, genderqueer, gender nonconforming, non-binary individuals, affirmed men and women, people with trans histories, and anyone with health needs unique to their diverse gender expressions and identities. These regular workshops, seminars, and forums are a part of that commitment to the health of our transgender community.
